gets under my skin so bad and it makes me so angry You bring things and you talk it out Hope we have more ways of talking to each other face to face Voting education in the inner city is important because I still to this day People don't necessarily talk to their neighbors as much for better or for worse Making people feel uncomfortable with not knowing everything People have to care to learn and talk to their neighbors Those relationships I've built have made me feel like I have people I hit too many roadblocks because I don't know what questions to ask A lot of people are being left out of the information gap We seem to still be segregated and we're not being able to meet The hope that the change we're looking for will come to bear an ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure The possibility of hope that things will and can improve I know that you have disabilities you have challenges that impact you The little things made a huge difference while going through the pandemic I feel like we don't really know what the real world is like We can create change small in our spaces and Chica can be one People pour out their mind when they say things without fear You should be lucky I'm picking up your blankety blank I was diagnosed with a brain injury through the MGH when I was 40 The kids just run all over you want to test the waters It feels like people can be more than just their job Can we have these conversations literally every week almost every day I want to help you you you just find a way to make our artistry grow These are the good ones that come together I started to get a little bit frustrated with submitting our work I love Cambridge I feel welcome in Cambridge Somerville Things just started happening I got accepted to this pitch competition Spaces where all are welcome I always feel supported in a lot of communities I'm a part of people need to understand the actual facts about it Letting them feel like they're invisible and letting them have a purpose people don't necessarily talk to their neighbors as much for better or for worse In 10 years from now the community is possibly going to be better I consider everyone's opinion and try to understand people I sat in a couple listening sessions for a piece of legislation I just appreciate hearing everyone sharing their thought and expressing their self I haven't seen any bit of negativity in here what's important to put our time towards I appreciated Luan's passion and consistency The kid ate my eggs stole my fucking scooter and then called the cops we don't always put our people in places to position I can't feel my leg and I lost my car and I have a concussion Conversations is what allow people to grow and allow the communities to grow A lot of wants A lot of needs And when it comes down to it The unity that we need as a community Neighbors being able to feel like they can talk to each other It was really hard time to move to a new city I sometimes feel not so supported by others in seeing the impacts We have a voice and we need to make our voices heard I actually got a chance to see how an organization that has its roots here the short time fucking turnaround you're giving two weeks to apply for I've probably lost more friends growing up between the ages of 15 to 17 Everyone getting poured into properly because I feel like we have the resources We have to figure out a way to reach everyone I felt like I was advocating for myself in the right way I have frequently felt invisible in this neighborhood being not only disabled I was surrounded by love and comfort and hugs and affirmation Hey I'm just checking in to see if everything's good in this class I guess for the first time felt that with you guys If we don't give each other that space then it creates a divide They're coming in with a specific statement that they really want to get across The presence of people who are willing to cheer you on I saw you one time at basketball practice give your shoes to a kid Keeping people from disadvantaged backgrounds in charge of the city A lot of times I don't really go nowhere just stays this conversation I know I'm trying to improve my life every day I'm not crazy for thinking the things that I think I feel alone a lot and I want to de-stress all the time There is no at all push for you to collaborate with people I think harboring more relationships within schools will be extremely important listen to them because we have a lot of experiences Spaces where I could just be myself and be who I am A band of brothers that I can lean on It is beautiful to see the support from that community in Boston The people here are very ready to help and they're ready to have a conversation We need more interactive and people that can actually break loose I felt like where people actually thought I was funny
