Tagged Highlights I feel very supported whenever I think about going into the studio It's just shocking to me how undiverse it is once you get out I don't really think I'm taken seriously as a business owner It feels really disheartening to know how underappreciated these community spaces are The vibe here was completely different and there were mad not whatever They wanted to have live graffiti art how they wanted to have shops They just want to dance all night long How do we create communities where there are no food deserts I would love the city of Boston to take advantage of their beautiful spaces They called it the middle of the ground child Mostly black and brown businesses and cafes and places to ULAs I feel everywhere is looking like an urban area to me Finding affordable places to show up and practice my art I don't have roots and I don't have friends already Great Scott that was my hang-out every week for years I feel there's not a single space where we can gather A lot of hoops to jump through in order to start sowing these seeds I actually got a chance to see how an organization that has its roots here Spaces where all are welcome I don't even dare to dream it I enjoy taking the ferry from East Boston to the north end I happened to just wander in Development infrastructure there should be more location mobilized for public transport Connecting to a lot of people in the neighborhood and they'll feel welcome Just workshops that help understand things that school doesn't teach you I think it's a limited space to me based on shootings Boston a lot more elevated She was just crying asking for help from pedestrians more reasons to go outside other than just get food If we create community centers of some of the sorts We need more non-profit places like that for adults who are bored People who might need to start over or just need to find a community Like the voice was saying there's no kids outside really planning anymore I want to see more of that I want the charm that the Boston I grew up with I very often feel supported in dance spaces created by my peers Centered around all bodies and spaces where all are welcome I feel like I'm letting down people all the time It's harder for artists who don't have a ZUMIX next to you A really nice place to go after school Building a more inclusive community in Boston needs to start at the beginning I feel like people are really siloed away I like living in East Boston because I feel like there are a lot of what I call public back yards I feel like they have a community here among other chronically ill folks The mutual aid part just being there for your communities Every park that I used to go to is overtaken by white families I planted sunflower seeds with a group in some parks I got kicked out of my first rehearsal space I remember on the tour there used to be this jazz club I think harboring more relationships within schools will be extremely important I feel connected to this neighborhood I feel connected to this community Spaces where I could just be myself and be who I am A safe place where they can come regardless and be accepted I want a safe positive place we need a safe place for us where we could sit down I found my best friends there I think it's pretty good finding a community in Boston I feel like a lot of people show up for that for Boston
