Primary Source educates global citizens by working with teachers to foster students’ knowledge, skills, and dispositions for thoughtful and engaged citizenship. For this project, they focused on the needs of Boston Public School teachers.
We collaborate with teachers, schools, and educational organizations to offer professional development and resources that help make global, civics, and cultural education an integral part of every student's classroom experience. Our proven, effective online and face-to-face programs and curriculum resources inspire civic engagement and cultural understanding. We support thousands of teachers every year in bringing the wider world to their students.

Program Director
Jill comes from a long line of educators who have inspired my intellectual curiosity and interest in the histories and cultures of the world. She holds a B.A. in American Studies from Smith College and received her masters degree in teaching from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Before joining Primary Source, Jill spent 17 years as a high school Social Studies teacher in New York and Massachusetts. She loves being to be able to create those resources for fellow educators!
